There is always a crocus in the snow as a promise
first, great use of words...fastidiousness and abeyance....very cool...and sometimes the dreams must lie falor, so the fields can bear fruit again...you know...smiles..it will thaw
So true Brian--smiles!
Beautiful phrasings....especially in stanzas 3 and 4. And yes, I think sometimes dreams are buried beneath the snow, but thankfully they come to life again in spring!
Thank you so much Mary!!
I love your poetry and I see my good friend Icy was here.
Hi Judy!! Thank you so much for visiting!!
The promise is like a blanket that gives dreams, seeds, roots, grubs the rest they need to wake strong. You say this so beautifully and honor it.
Hi Susan! Thank you!
it's a good thing when dreams finally start thawing...and hopefully soon blossom in the most beautiful colors...
I hope so too!!Ah, the colors of the thaw---what a great idea
I love this, Audrey! Blue and nature, beautifully captured by an excellent poet.
