  1. I'm smiling over here, Audrey. We are on the same wavelength. The moon...oh, but she is a distraction. And a benediction. I hope your Sunday is glorious. I loved this piece.

  10. "an orb of time/suspended"

Beautiful. I hope this is the view you have from your window someday, but until then you can certainly create the image with your words.

  11. I am always amazed when poets can do so much with so few words.

  12. May you see this out your window, may you continue to write about what you see and what you wish to see.

  13. We make a point of going to the lake every year (same family - different lake) and I have seen "an orb of time suspended" a handful of times over my lifetime.

  16. Audrey, sorry it's taken me this long to respond. I love, love this poem, though I cannot tell if it is a form. This image of the moon, your words, so lovely. So much said in a handful of words... wish I had that talent! Believe it or not, last night, we went to a terrace where astro-enthusiasts all brought their various telescopes to share with the public. What an event! Saw the moon's craters, also saw Jupiter...but nothing like this moon! Inspiring poem. Peace, honey. Amy
