the agreement was made out of love
compacted into ground glass

I find my hands in front of me
shovels, have just enough left
for the slow daily
shaving of self

a promise of forever
locked into glass's light

  8. Rarely do I look forward to reading poetry...yes a character flaw for sure...but when you write a poem I stop what I'm doing to read it. A testament to your talent.
