Who am I anyway?
I am the average mom walking down the street
Dressed in comfortable, funky, ultimately- very serviceable clothes.
You have seen me in a thousand people passing you.
Within this ordinary trapping of a life,
I feel my dreams crowd around inside my skull.
Vying for space,
they sit right next to the part of me that pays the bills,
sometimes on time.
Within this ordinary trapping of a life,
My dreams scream to be let loose before I die--
Before they die with me.
See them as I reveal them to you.
Watch with the vision of compassion
as I open their door and let them fly.
Know me.
