Litter
MorgueFile
a proving ground
drawn in in pencil stokes
a circling
movement
toward a center
forgotten
or lost in a jumble
of tasks,
post-its litter the floor.

This is my #1 for NaPoWriMo. I am feeling a pull inward. This venue with be an exploration of that for me. So little will be polished. More, I intend it to be reflective of that pull.
Thank you!

I like this poem, especially the opening line. I like how pencil can be flexible and forgiving. It's a good image. I am looking forward to your posts this month. :)
ReplyDeleteAudrey,
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a spider-graph which is sometimes necessary, when there are too amny tasks to cope with at once. A sketchy outline of the demands, can give a little bit of clarity; then the most urgent can be attended to..The rest may well fall away, as litter!!
Good luck with your NaPOWRIMO challenge!
Eileen
