Images Against a Darkened Sky

wrapped threads
shimmer
just out of reach of
pinioned sky
telling their
sawdust tales
to ears
heralded
by silken wire
made brittle
wrapping tighter
around the bobbin
of brain matter
left unconcealed
a stillness
released
into the loneliest of cries

  1. I wonder the thoughts, of those seemingly focused on the craft at hand.

  6. For some inexplicable reason, this reminds me of the fairy tale of Rumpelstiltskin. The weaving, silken wire, bobbin. I know she weaved straw into gold but, just reminded me of that tale.
Loved the imagery in all of this.
