Rain in Fussen

do
you recall
the
evening
the
rain poured
in
big fat droplets
drenching
us
in the space of
a
minute flat
you
held my hand
and
laughing
we
ran for shelter
under
the eaves of an old palace
as
the rain eased
we
made silly poses
in
the sculpture garden
creating
unintended works of art
works
of love’s hand
and
as the rain washed over me
you
washed through me

DeleteAwesome poem! It has been raining so much lately, lol. As always, I love the imagery...and I immediately thing about the droplets running down the back of my neck as I run about trying to dodge them. ;)
